Rachel Vanderzwet – New Works

In Rachel Vanderzwet’s newest body of work, she continues to experiment with the distinction between abstraction and representation, focusing on gesture and the translation of multiple source materials in her compositions. Her paintings attract the viewer with hints of the recognizable, yet ultimately leaving them with an abstract painting seductive in its materiality.

Rachel is an emerging artist, living and working in Guelph, ON.
