Ahn takes note of the active chemistry between figurative form and its surroundings. In his newest works, Ahn uses his unique combination of traditional figurative painting styles with a contemporary narrative to explore the darker side of the human condition. 

BIO

Jae Ahn was born in South Korea in 1979. While Busan was his birth place his family often moved. At age 16, he immigrated to Canada with his family. Ahn is a graduate of The Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) major in drawing and painting.. Using oil as his main medium, he currently explores the human conditions with relation to both its physical and non-physical surroundings.
